Boat Safe Expo & Open House
 

The USCG Auxiliary will hold a Boat Safe Expo and Open House at the Coast Guard Station at Manasquan Inlet, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ on July 16th (3-7pm), July 17th (9am-7pm), and July 18th (9am-3pm).

The 3 day event is open to the public.

As the lead volunteer agency of the Department of Homeland Security, the USCG Auxiliary's mission is to promote safety on America's waterways. This community outreach program promotes safe boating to all New Jersey boaters.

Features include displays on boat safety, knot tying, kids & boats, marine radios,and vessel checks. Local boaters can bring their boats/personal watercraft to the Manasquan Inlet or Shark River Coast Guard Stations and receive a free safety check whether by water or by trailer.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary provides boating education,vessel inspections, safety patrols, and radio communications. Division 16 of Point Pleasant Beach is comprised of seven flotillas covering the NJ coast from Long Branch to Seaside Park.
