I'm just giving you a hard time. That is exactly what I did. Take it out in the middle of nowhere and practice maneuvering the boat...keeping it in place, around a marker, spinning on it's axis....to get the feel for how it moves. You will feel comfortable docking in no time (just do it when there is noone around the first time...don't know about you but I got nervous when people were around).

Let me know how it goes!

Make sure Jeffrey teaches you where to have the drives/tabs in certain situations. Drives in the wrong place while making a turn.....Could have you in the water

Good luck, let us know, I've always wanted to drive one.

I have learned a lot about the trim tabs and what they do. They keep the boat level.
I was told the top three things are:
Drives
Throttle
Tabs

Once you learn those learning everything else makes sense. Anybody want to add to that?

just knowing which of those three to adjust to compensate for adverse water conditions without blinking. You'll be fine. My ex figured out my boat which was really tricky(narrow beam/touchy controls) and she is dumber than ****.

If you're going out with Jeffrey don't forget to check the fuel level...

Have fun and good luck!! I'm sure you'll do fine.
