Robert, I went for the T/S Gun. I wanted to run around 90 .. (cough cough .. I mean low 80's) and figured I couldn't afford to do it in an Apache. I'll just have to make sure I keep the Bravo-butt to the rear :drool: The last I saw of BCC was in Miami during the Boat Show ... Still looking good and seemed to be very happy.

No judgement on a person's history should be passed. I wasn't a girly girl until BG1.

I fly fish and have been riding 13 years. When Jeffery and I first met I had just sold all my off road toys and Ziemen encolsed trailer after getting a minor fractor to the colar bone. More recently I sold my Dodge Ram I had to tow the stuff.

I don't have any sisters. I have had many step brothers. I never had the opportunity to be a girl until recently. Like 2 years.

I would go fly-fishing every weekend. I can out Fly-Fish most men. I haven't gone in a year. I was featured in many magazines. Including Bob Marriots annual catalog. I still have my gear. Just in case.

I was afraid of water after a horrible surfing accident when I was 18.

When I met Jeffery I would not go near the water. After he showed me what happens when in the boat and spending sometime at the dry slip I finally went.

I'm not looking for hand outs.

As for watching what happens while being a passenger I do watch. As you SO CAL people know WE have not been out but 3-4 times this year. Well the weather is getting warmer and I'm getting anxious. So I figured I would start inquiring. YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE!

I'm am currently looking to get my captains license but all I seem to find is books on it. I'm looking for a class.

This weekend I will hit Barnes and Noble.

It doesn't hurt to ask! If none wants to help then yes do it yourself.

Well, maybe you can find a school that offers marine tech classes at night. Ususally its only one night per week (7-9pm) and goes about two and a half months. But you can sure learn a lot in that short time.

I wish I was younger and I'd go back to school too, and take some fun classes. For two years I went to college full time at night, and worked full time during the day - and then still had the energy to watch my BF's rock band perform its last set at a local nightclub! Boy, those were the days!

Now I've got two elementary age children and a husband who travels out of state about every other week. No chance to do any college courses now. But I could do with some of that youthful energy I once had! ;)


If you don't have any kids right now, then take advantage of EVERYTHING you can, becuase once you have a child, it will be 18 years before the chance will come around again,... and by then your eager interest in this boat stuff may be long gone.

GO FOR IT! Carpe Diem! :drink:
