Which nose cone should I use? Or new lower case?
I removed the ones I had on my Bravos over the winter when I painted the drives. The reason I took them off is because I put them on myself and wasn't sure if I had them on right. I just had new HP gimble rings done 2 yrs ago and there is a slight bit of play now, so I thought if those cones are not straight they may cause damage.
Since I took them off I've lost 300 rpm and about 5 mph. I had Hardin Marine cones but would like to if there are better ones.
What is involved in doing a new lower case? I may have to have the drives gone through anyway. Is this worth looking into?
Thanks

Not sure of the Bob's fit Bravos but that is what I am running on my 300s and they are great. I got the dual hose kit for more flow. I gained a couple mph...

Hydromotive makes a good unit. On my first boat, an 85' Formula 242 with twin small blocks, I picked up 3 mph and they were easy to install.
