CASH BAR goes racing.....and WINS.!!
I wrote a beautiful account of the entire race and it dissappeared when I added a pic..
Soo, now you get the Cliff notes..
Guy calls and asks if I can fill in in Marathon. Who, ME? I've never raced before, But I DID stay at Holiday-Inn that night!
Long Story short..
SuperStock Class SBI-
9 Boats-7 canopy/2 open
We Won in a 30 AMT open Cat. "OCEANS 234"
Allen Christy and Myself. His first Victory, my First Race.
I'm HOOKED!!!

"Oceans 234"? As in the Hillsboro restaurant? I did some work for them a few months ago.
Looks cool! Did you drive, throttle and/or navigate? I would've been too busy holding on and praying for my life to do anything useful.

I drove.
Even had my eyes open for some of the race. Definite Pucker Factor going under 2 bridges not aligned great at 95-100mph.
