I have an answer to your gas problem. Sell me your house on the water, and buy a trailer! :p

There is no law against hauling your own fuel. You can buy 40 -300gallon fuel tanks and a 12 volt pump to with a long hose. We do it all the time to out farm equipment. I don't know about a ground, we've never used one. Just be sure to get a pump rated for gas. Some are rated just for diesel. Gas has no natural lubrication and the pump , if not rated for it, may lock up.
You can buy tanks from Northertool.com

well, technically you may be correct, if your using small cans etc, but in Fl I doubt it. I have a 60 gallon tank in my truck with pump etc.. I get pulled regularly in the new truck with no work signs on it, they check the registration and let me go with a warning about no commercial ID on the vehicle. According to the police here if it was a private vehicle I would get a ticket....
