Today headed back from a friends house in Smithfeild, Va I saw a DONZI, all red with twin motors and it was called "Southern Comfort" anyone know this boat?

Actually I saw it riding on the opposite side of the road. Not parked it was being towed...

I'm just goin on a friends statement that he "know's a guy" who owns a boat that is a red Donzi with twin Mercs with the name of "Southern Comfort". This "guy" supposedly let the current owner/possessor have the boat on an oral agreement that he would pay the loan payment on the boat and could take it from said owners premisis based on that assumption. Needless to say the loan payment has not been made and supposedly the owner now is going to have my buddy go and get it. So whatever, I don't really care, it was just an interesting post you made and I thought I would respond. It is entirely possible that the Southern Comfort you saw and the one I speak of are two entirely different vessels. But it'll be interesting to find out what my friend has to say on monday when I tell him. Plus the fact that the new "owner" lives or took the boat to MD.

I can't believe the orginal owner delivers the boat when the financial end is still open.

Definitely a very interesting dilemma. I will repost to this topic as soon as I get more info. The likelyhood that it is in fact the same boat I am speaking of seems unlikely, I guess I'm just overly pessimistic. I suppose anything is possible.

Yeah, the boat was in like immaculent condition it appeared if that helps any.
