Hi Everyone,

I see that the Bladerunner has been getting some chat going, so as the sole importer and distributor for the USA, I thought it best to introduce ourselves and be available to answer any questions.

The very first 35 is here in St Petersburg, FL. The original 34's are no longer made. Other 35's are spread around the globe with other distributors or clients.

The first 51 broke the world record for circumnavigating Great Britain last year. Another is nearing completion for delivery to its' owner.

The 35 debuted at the Miami Boat Show in February and has been tested by some of the magazines since then. Reviews are to be published in up coming issues. I'll list the dates and titles as soon as we are notified.

The boat was also part of the Poker Runs of America season opener in Sarasota on April 1st and photos should be on their website (www.pokerrunsofamerica.com) soon.

I'm not going to go into depth about the boat/design here, but as there seems to be some interest I will make myself available to answer any questions and I look forward to some further debate through the forum.

Lastly, to all those that said they wanted one, well I'm your man !!!!

Thank you

Mark Hawkins

Nice looking boat- I wanted a closer peek at the lunch stop, but it was rafted on the outside.

Thank you,

We hope to be at the Ft Myers PR. If you are going to be there I would be happy to show you around.

Just for everyone else (you obviously know), I made a mistake in my previous post. The PRA website is www.pokerrunsamerica.com

Thanks

Mark

Are you building one of these in Fort Lauderdale right now off SR 84. There is something that looks exactly like this in a shed, they were priming it a couple of weeks ago ??

No Ryan it can't be.....

It's NEW and REVOLUTIONARY....... not a tired out old idea from the early 70"s......

I am so weary of old wine in new bottles being trotted out and hyped like the arrival of the Messiah.

But I did get a good laugh out of the (inevitable) claim that Fountain "created" this concept originally.

By the way this is a result of monohull guys seeing all of the early tunnel hulls and adding a healthy dose of Rube Goldberg.

DyD ... Yes there is a 51 being fitted out in Lauderdale. It should be ready soon for delivery to the client.

The Trident was a tri-hull just with similar lines and size to the older Bladerunner 34. The "Blade" is a twin stepped Air Entrapment Monohull (AEM). The sponsons are not hulls and do not take any weight. They are there for air entrapment only.

The only Bladerunner race boat was the Ice Marine RS6 which ran in UIM a few years ago to promote the project. Of course the Bladerunner 51 recently gained the world record for circumnavigating GB.

Hope that helps a little.

Regards

Mark
