A question about new versus "previously owned" boats..

Just kinda curious... what exactly is the hit that most people are taking now days when they buy a new boat? I have read on other threads a fairly large %. Not that I wouldn't buy a new boat.. its just that I don't have the money that they want for example for a new 30' (Baja, Fountain, ect ect ect...) Thats why I am a previously owned "owner".

Also on a little different note.. the 47 Apache that I believe was JBK's has it been sitting the entire time since he sold it for the Cig? Wonder how many performance boats are just sitting waiting for an owner?

umm i think JBK had a 33 Outlaw before the Cig. He probably couldnt see over the dash on that 47 :D

I was talking more about how much patience you have to have in the used boat market it seems these days..

Also how much money can be lost in the purchase of a new boat.. espically some of the high performance boats like we love..

and I was just using the Apache as an example,, I have drueled over it for quite some time in the classifieds..
