Default Allow me to introduce myself...

Hello everyone, My name is Laz Mesa of Mesa Balancing. I've been a part of this forum as an advertiser for a couple of months but have never introduced myself. We here at Mesa Balancing believe in getting the job done right. We can build you anything from mild to WILD. All of our engines are built to perform and we have the track record to prove it with 15 years of experience. Check out one of our latest projects for a private customer with twin MB600s.

We start all of our projects by taking pictures of all the new parts and serial numbers.

We then e-mail the pictures to the customer to keep them up to date with the progress of the engine build. The customers are normally out of town and they can not come down to inspect the work. The e-mails give them the piece of mind that they deserve.

We perform all major machining operations on all critical surfaces on every piece we use. Even though the pieces are new we want our dimensions for our quality control. Unlike crate engines that are being sold on the market today. This is the only way we can warranty our packages for one (1) year.

All deck surfaces are parallel machined and angle corrected.

All bores are finished with torque plates, and every ring is hand filed fit to our specific clearances.

As everyone knows airflow is the most critical aspect of every engine. Every cylinder head and intake manifold that we install on an engine we hand port, flow, use bronze guides and finish our own seats. Nothing is left untouched.

This is what makes a custom engine what it is. When its all said and done.

You can see the results of our hard work in the link below. Right click and save as please.

For those of you that took the time to read through this post I appreciate it and feel free to call us or contact us with any questions you may have regarding Mesa Balancing. Good Luck and Happy Boating

I wish you wouldn't post pics like that. It makes middle aged crazy people like me want to get my hands dirty again.

I want to take this time, to thank Laz for all his support. He is my friend and sponsor for my race boat. I deal with alot of engine builders in town, and Laz does alot of machine work for these top engine builders, so it gives me a peace of mind that this one person has so much to offer.

I have a 650MB on my boat now and it runs awesome, I started the race on Marathon with sixty pounds of oil pressure and the last two laps the motor gained 10 pounds of oil pressure. I was amazed, we won the race and the first thing I told him back in the pits was about the oil pressure and not about the outcome of first place.
