That's a real nice 23' Nova I have the 26'er. I always wondered why the boat is such a good wave crusher. It only has a 23 degree deadrise. Maybe it's the weight. Mine has 350 Magnums that have cam's etc and I can only get it to 64 mph. I think it would take T-500's to get things exciting and that's a lot of power to get a 26' boat to fly. Good ride but probably a heavy inefficient hull 6,000 lb V-bottom. So I enjoy the ride and look to bigger and better things some day.

I had a 1985 wellcraft witha 454ci called reddog maybe you seen it in the river, it was great in rough water must have made 200 trips to the bay.

how fast will your cig. run, I've got about the same setup as you I think my boats
weights a little more, you have a good lookin ride.

thanks active fun and bob barker. the rig is still pretty new to us. im thinking around 80. we will see in the next few weeks. it seems every time we take the rig out, we have a few too fast too fast people on it. so in the next few weeks it will be only me and my brother. the only thing im sure of, is that i can smoke cuda and his punk formula. but so can everybody........................

The best way to get record your top speed is like I did, go out by yourself an put
the hammer down, trim your drives & tabs an hang on, theres nobody to ***** about
going to fast.I have a gaffrig gps speedo which recalls your fastest time until you reset it then you have braggin rights. your boat should do 80s easily. What drives
do you have.
