hey roby,
we're still open on travis. me and the better half have been wanting to make this trip to corpus/mustang island for sometime now and thought this coming weekend might be good. if we do end up going to travis you can't miss us. we'll be the only idiots pulling a 28 footer with a freakin' ford explorer....lol..
it should make a good story anyway. if we don't find out anymore info on corpus we'll push that trip back and be austin bound thursday night. when are ya'll leaving and where are ya'll staying? does it look like you're gonna have a good crew?

Can't say, but I am thinking about going from Matagorda down to South Padre this year. Wish I knew where to get charts.

hey kaama,
sound like a hell of a trip. let me know closer to the date and we'll hook up and do it. north padre island is not to bad from matagorda but matagorda to south padre is a 10 hour trip at 40-45. sounds like a blast. anybody else????

LiquidFix, CC sounds like a great trip!

For the 4th we're staying around Clear Lake, but would love to hear about your trip south after you go. BTW: Campbell's Guide has a lot of good info for that cruise.

Are you in Clear Lake?

Were gonna try and leave Friday morning if I can get the women out of the sack. (I'm pretty good at that ) Were having a dinner party at Maggiano's on Post Oak Thursday night. After that I still have go and pick up the boat and get it ready.

Did you end up making this trip? I am originally from Corpus and my brother lives in Clear Lake. We have always talked about taking his Baja down to Corpus.
