Traverse City
 

It looks like I'll be coming up to Torch Lake for the fourth of July weekend and while i'm there if i get the chance i'd like to take the boat out on the bays and lake Michigan. So i need some suggestions on places to go on the water good bars/restaurants or anything else i should go see while i'm there. Thanks for any info, Eric.

it is very beautiful there. as blue as the carribean on a sunny day.

Put in in Elkrapids about 10 miles north of TC and take you pick of ports to the north its all ausome!!Powers Island in west bay is cool on the weekends lots of people hangin out. Northport is cool,Chalivoix, Harbor springs.....most ports have a municipals to tie up in and you can walk to bars and resturants not any on the water with slips that I can think of Torch has docksides thats a great place with dockage!!!Have a ball Life is better above the 45th parallel!!!!

I will be up there on sat-mon. i have a place just off the lake on the river. my 353 is parked on the dock cannot miss it. stop and say hi if your around.

I did that trip last year. I know I'll catch hell but torch bores me after a day.
I dropped in elk rapids and went to lk. charlavoix. Checked out the whole
lake and was back in elk by 7:30. It got a little rough on the way back,
But then I have a little boat. Have fun, I did. JC

I noticed your boat this weekend... NICE. How long have you been at Torch? We are in Alden across from the depot.
