Yes,, I read up on the hp525sci when Mercury first started their line of HP engines... years back... back when they introduced the 525, 600, and 900scis.....

525sci = great, reliable engine, using a Weiand 177 supercharger.... There u have it MC240....

then Mercury went w/ a 575sci using a Weiand/B&M 256 Blower....still see alot of those today......

What do you mean no such thing? 525sc. tons of them. It was a hp motor from merc racing in the early 90s. Just sold a boat with 1991 525 sc motors.

The 31 was a fast boat. Beat the eliminator and skater at the worlds in 99 for APBA in st pete.
