Yes,, I read up on the hp525sci when Mercury first started their line of HP engines... years back... back when they introduced the 525, 600, and 900scis.....
525sci = great, reliable engine, using a Weiand 177 supercharger.... There u have it MC240....
then Mercury went w/ a 575sci using a Weiand/B&M 256 Blower....still see alot of those today......
