As posted on APBA site "No alcohol is permitted aboard Patrol boats and children are not permitted aboard." Okay we will have to wait until the evening then.

Thanks, let me know :)

As for the children I have to leave the puppy at home since the Ramada does not allow pets :( Even if they are kenneled :(

And I am not really much of a drinker to begin with so no booze during the day suits me fine. Besides, would rather be at my best out there anyway :)

or for sleeping?

I would rather not boat 30 miles north each day :(
and I would rather not drive that far either. :(
Unless it was FREE :)
Time and gas is worth something. Not to mention if we party with the racers :)

The Racine Harbor would be closer then Port Washington. Here is the link with some contact information, click on Waterfront information. They ae less then 15 miles away by boat would be my guess.

Also, you may want to check with Skipper Buds in Milwaukee (414) 482-0900,
and Harborside (414) 273-0711. They might have slips available to tie up to and store your trailer, not the greatest area scenery wise, it is on the Milwaukee River. Just a thought...hope it helps.

If I had my trailer I would bring by boat down for patrol but I still do not have it yet.... :(. I am sure I will be down their watching like last year :drink:

There is also the south shore yacht club. If that falls through, I know a couple of people with river frontage and parking space.

There probably will be slips available in the river, I know of one place last year that had many slpis available and the owner even offered to schuttle the boaters on his poontoon boat and no one took advantage of it. South shore will probably not have any slips available same as Mckinley. Best bet is the river.

There will be plenty of secured room provided at no cost to keep your boat on shore at night. There will not be slips provided. My suggestion would be to pull out and keep your boat in the designated patrol boat area (close to the race boats). This year the launchng fee will be included for patrol boats with proper identification...

Mn, I'd just pull it out. The parking area is not too far away as the crow flies. A bit further by road.

I hope I can recruit one person to help with the boat :)

All I need it someone to back the trailer in and pull it out :) Just make things faster with two.
:blaster:
think I need to restate that :)

Back the trailer in the water, wait for me to drive on adn the pull the BOAT AND TRAILER out of the water :)
