25 foot talon ????
Gentleman:
Does anyone have any experience with the 25 foot talon? I'm looking at an outboard version with twin 2.5's. Would probably sell the motors and put new 300X motors on. How's the ride quality? Speed? I would be boating in lakes in Minnesota. How's the 300X for reliability? Any problems with it? Mike Sufka St. Cloud, MN |

Hey Mike...
Here's a couple of recent threads with info on 300x's. Don't have experience with Talons but one thing I can guess is a 25 w/ T300s will probably haul a$$ :D http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=82875 http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=80313 |
Re: 25 foot talon ????
Is this the red one I have seen around the state?

Re: 25 foot talon ????
Actually, I haven't seen a picture of the boat yet. It was white and yellow, but it's being repainted as we speak.

25 Talon is a great boat sitck with the 2.5's the 300's will be alittle heavy in the ass.

Re: 25 foot talon ????
Fast, but it will beat the **** out of you in rougher water.

Re: 25 foot talon ????
I don't know if I'd go that far. The boat will be fine in up to 3' sharp crested water. After that it's not comfortable. When you land, the boat will land hard though. Maybe that's what you are talking about.
