Default Tightning down props

Whats the best way to tighten down a prop, other than using a piece of wood. I know I've seen some type of tool. The Nortech is on the lift now, and its hard to tighten the props down since I can't brace a piece of wood off the trailer. Thanks Jeff Jassby

Jeff have a carpenter make a wooden Jig that slides in and over sandwiching the cavitation plate with a thick softwood block on the bottom side to lock/bind the Prop.. I Made a couple for the race Boats the Rollas were very sharp. That way it is a one Man job.

As always Best Regards

I got wood! (kind of). I use a chunk of 4x4 and a torque wrench set @ 100 ft lb on my Speedmasters. It's all I can afford after making the boat payment and paying for the insurance, slip fee, heated winter storage and outragous gas prices! Lou
