My dog is 10 1/2 and has been the best dog I've ever been around! Loves kids, the truck and his favorite thing is to ride in the boat. He is also very gentle. Although he is very jealous of the baby!

Re: What other dog would let you do this?
Labs are without a shadow of a doubt the BEST pets one could have. ESPECIALLY with kids. Although he may be a bit jealous at times of the attention you pay to the little tyke, let me tell you this, he will be INCREDIBLY protective of him as well. Don't let his need for attention fool you. Just keep in mind that a Labs only goal in life is to please his owner. You will not find a more faithful and loving companion. Post more pics!

That's a fact. My lab does what I want her to do the first time I ask. I also have two pitt/cur mix dogs. Whenever I give them a command, they think it's a request and they will think about it and get back with you whether they want to do it or not.
