Default Is this your mechanic ?

The mechanic up the road from me comes over and says he has to change a cam in a 454 chevelle.

I said ,yeah .......

He says , "where should I start "?!?!?

I said , find someone else to do it and add $200 on the bill .......

This could be your mechanic too .....

You for got the " ", "mechanic" and maybe a question mark, "mechanic"?

Is he going to replace the muffler bearings and kanibbling pins will he is in there?

actually if he just cleans the injector filters, well at least 5 of the ten of them, he should not have to worry about the cam

Get him to work on your boat motors,he'll probally do better then you after two years!!!!

What he really meant was that he needed to change the Kanooder Valves. Those things can be tricky you know.

A guy where I work who thinks he is a mechanic told me he needed to change the oil in his car be cause it is pinging real bad under acceleration. Note to self, don't let this guy new anything mechanical.

Oh come on guys... It's all ballbearings nowadays! Now, you prepare that fetzer valve with some Three-In-One oil and some gauze pads. And I'm gonna need about ten quarts of antifreeze, preferably Prestone. No... no, make that Quaker State...
