LEOPA Thank you!
 

On behalf of everyone who was involved in organizing the poker run. A special thanks to everyone who attended the LEOPA poker run this past weekend. I hope everyone had a great time.

We gave $3000.00 to the Special Olympics, along with boat rides on friday that were very well received. (even made the front page of the paper)

We gave away $ 3500.00 in cash, and about $3000.00 in prizes.

We had great weather, great water, and great people at this years event.


Thanks Again, and we'll see you all next year

Hey Dan, a big thanks to you, Phil, Rockney and the rest of Loepa group for putting on another great run. weather was great and we had an awsome time. also got to meet some more OSO people that made the trip for the run. Mr. and Mrs. Patriyacht and Mark Smith just to name a few. great to meet you guys.:D :D

Dan the thank you should be to you, Rockney, Phil the wives and the members of LEOPA & the Monroe Boat club that worked on the event. Ian and I had a blast, the food was great, NY York Strip, Prime Rib, stuffed chicken; DJ Friday, Band Saturday great lunch, NO LINES. Plus the most fun and hospitable group of boaters on the planet. Lots of OSO guys and gals and a docking lesson from Wicked One made the weekend complete. We just got back from Put In Bay Lake Erie was smooth so we had a beautiful run home to end the weekend. Anyone reading this that is in driving distance to Monroe MI should definitely put this on the calendar for next year.

I see I made it into the Toledo Blade I'm sitting on Bad Dog next to Bad Girl. :)

Nice to meet you sorry we missed you last night at dinner we ended up having a late dinner and called it quits. We came by the boat a couple times and it looked abandoned I can only guess you slept in till noon :D

Scott actually we were up by 8:30 and after breakfast we did the golf cart tour and headed out of the bay around 2:00. It seems like to keep up with you LEOPA guys we have to learn to live on about five hours of sleep :eek:
We are getting in shape for your Kelly's Island weekend :drink: :drink:
I hope a few of the pictures from the weekend get posted since there was a lot of nice boats on the run. Donna

LEOPA has done it again. This poker run is best on my schedule and will continue to be. Great run, great people and the best party on Lake Erie hands down. I'm sure the food was good too. :drink: :drink:
