Re: LEOPA Pic's
that Ohio Steel is a nice piece of hardware. very good lookin boat. anybody know how fast it is? looks serious with #6's and staggered blower motors. i was told it had a removable beak for the Catalina ski race (no chit) so it could fit within the size limit.

Re: LEOPA Pic's
Yours is out of the water...
Mine is floating but has that shift issue still. I needed to take a couple days off after the season I have had with these two boats.
Tonight I will go down and mess with it. Maybe over the weekend I'll take it down to the hoist and yank it. Part of me wants to hurry up and get it repaired. Part of me wants to save money and start planning the strategy for next year.
If I am keeping the boat, I may hold off and do new volvo drives. If not I might do the repair on the OMC and stick that puppy on Boattrader.

Ken and Lauren are friends of ours and just joined the club. They are also on OSO under the name BAD GIRL (Lauren signed on).
He bought it this spring out of California and has been getting to know the boat and how it handles (yes it has a removable beak). He has a strange carb problem going on one side so he took it easy and we just had a laid back run all day. I have been on the boat a couple of times and it was a whole different type of boating
As far as speeds go It has an impressive history for a 42 foot heavy turd
Hey where have I heard that before LOL
