Default Small upholstery repair

Has anyone had to repair a small separation between two pieces of vinyl? I have a 2" separation that needs to be re-sown as it's begun to open up a little more each trip. This is on the engine hatch, right in the center.
Doesn't require a complete re-upholstery job, just sewn up to keep from un-threading. Material is in great shape.

thanx.

I had a seat seam re-done. Took bench seat off and took to a reputable shop. He had to move existing piece over 1/8th of an inch to grab on and sew. Looks perfect. I can't even tell. $80.Fat friend jumped off sundeck and tore it.

He undoes the old stich on each side I think and then moves the vinyl over and re-sews. Fountain uses a "French Stiching" and/or they call it something else. Mine is perfect. Just get a reputable shop that has good referrals. Ask someone on board for Dallas area. Call the Fountain dealer of N Texas and ask them where they send out.

Here, p/m FountainDriver. He owns the dealer in TX. Just sold his awesome purple-yellow Fountain with 1200 Cobras.

Bad News,

I sold the purple 42 Fountain with the 1200 HP Cobras, the boat went from Texas to California about two weeks ago. I should have my new 42 Fountain by the end of the summer.

My new 42 will be yellow gel with FOUNTAIN down both sides, I will probably get Custom Touch Graphics do some of his work on this one also. BTW, I am considering 1350 HP Sterling Power for this one.
