Did Cigarette ever build a 40 footer?

Yes it was a lengthened 36 and Aronow sold the mold.

In the 1970's one of Billy Martin's "Bounty Hunters" was a 40 Cigarette as well as Roger Penske's "Cam II". Bob Magoon also used the 40 for his record setting Miami to NY run. All were race boats, I dont think they built a pleasure version. I think the molds for the 40 race boat were sold to "Performer" boats.
