Saw it, heard it and was blown away by it. That boat was hauling - just a bolt of white lightning shooting down the river! Pics to come as soon as I get them developed.

Everyone seems to have the same comments about how it ran.
Can someone please tell me at that speed, was the boat solid? Was there chine walking? How much hull was left running in the water?
Details! Details! Details! Please...........
Not just OOOO!!! & Ahhhhh!!!!!

No chine walking at all, even at 170+...looked 100% rock solid. Attitude of the boat looked perfect, and looked to be barely touching the water at all.
I have pics but the camera is in the truck, Steve posted some the other day that you can find if you check his thread.

Yes, looked like it was on rails - no chine-walking at all. Up on the pad with the props and very little hull in the water.

the boat was definatly setup. It honestly looked like my kid could have driven it that fast. There is no doubt in my mind that boat could have seen 180+ with a little more tune time.

Dreamer,
So, where was Cigarette in these runs? Maybe you should be more worried about that. I know, I know, it was away too calm where they ran the Kilo runs to bother with a Cig, blah blah blah. Fountain ran 170+ in a 25' boat, so where was Team Blow Smoke (aka Cigarette)?
Just gotta give you Cigs guys crap. As a Fountain owner, I take more BS from Cig owners than any other brand of boat. Seems to be that way on OSO as well.
