Re: Flying At A 100mph.....
My buddy had a 24 with a single Johnson V-8 was clocked at 99.98 Mph and he didn't even know how to drive the damn thing.
He sold it because he barrel rolled it. He wasn't even goingthat fast when it happened. No injuries thank God

Re: Flying At A 100mph.....
The Info That I Gathered On This Boat Is That It Was Once Bob Hamlins Boat And Then Became Bob Ericksons Boat It Held The World Kilo Record For Seven Years In A 24' Class Then They Allowed Bigger Outboard Motors In That Class.
Its The Original Patriot Racing Boat..... Thanks For The Compl...

Re: Flying At A 100mph.....
There were two Carbon 24's this one built for Bob Erickson and the other was Tough N' Uff. This was the second of Ericksons boats for he and Hurley Stepp. Kirk Dunteman has the other now which also belonged to Charlie Tsauro at one time. Your boat was AME 4000 express and Mercury Racing, then it was raced as Sherwin Williams/ Absoute by Noel Friedly and Tad Kimes. Bob Hamlin then purchased it and raced it with Tad Kimes and Lisa Greager. Stever Armstrong also raced it a time or two. It started life powered by twin 200's which is what stock class was. Bob Hamlin raced it with the early 2.5's in SBI. 24' Skater are one of the funest ever as well as pound for pound the baddest offshore boat around.......... BUT BE CAREFUL!!!!!!

Cap, was that roll at the NJPPC radar run? If so, I saw it happen. It was a 21' with a V8. The boat was all motor.

No Kirk was not Hat Trick, that was Terry Ayers I believe. He later went to the UAE the throttle for the Victory for a number of years.

Hat Trick is still running on the Mississippi near St. Louis. Terry sold the boat about a year ago.
