Do you remember the Ron Hill/Bronson Hill fighting a couple of years ago? Well, it turns out Bronson Hill was Ron's son. Yea, it was an act. Anyways, Ron's son has gotten out of the prop business and now his dad just casts props for money. Many of these are "splashed" props. I had one of his splashed props. A Yamaha drag. It looked ok, but I suspected that if the blades were measured that they would have had different pitches. The prop was also a little rough and uneven in places. One spot that suprised me was that the trailing edge had been buffed round where it meets the hub. I've never seen another prop with a rounded trailing edge there. I suspect the edge may have been taken off when he was trying to polish the hub and he didn't care enough to restore it. Anyways, the word on the street is that the guy has a way with the bottle and isn't producing a quality prop. From the one that I saw, I'd have to agree.

Those are the ones the old man is casting. That's where I got my prop from. It wasn't a good prop to run, but it was a great trading prop! Traded it even up for a Spinelli. :stupid:

Yep. It's funny how people remember those things. I personally hold it against them. Anybody that is willing to deliberatly deceive me receives a red flag against all future dealings.
