I spoke with Merritt and David today about the Royal Purple Poker Run, after making several passes at over 150, and cruising 24 miles across the lake by themselves, apparently they assumed no one could run with them. However, a few people on the board claimed that they did not get a side by side run against Cyclone. In regards to these claims, and to assure that all get their fair chance, their company, Extreme Motorsports, and TMP will sponsor a radar run in New Orleans. The run will be open to all boats, and be divided into several classes. There will also be a King of the Lake class which will be open to all offshore boats. Entry fee to this class will be 1000$, winner take all. We will also provide a full catered after party with live music, that way we can all have a few drinks, and put the BS behind us. Should be a great time.
We have never put on one of these, so feedback is greatly appreciated.

Who is interested in attending? Hot Pursuit, Hang Em Out to Dry, Top Cat, etc. Can we count you guys in?

Thanks Eric, Hopefully we can get some commitments out of several of the fast cats in our area, that way it makes a good show. Once we get some commitments, we will work with them to pick a date that works for everyone. We have a few places, so water conditions won't be a factor. We need to set a date because we will have to give the playmates a heads up, as they will come in to help promote the event.
