Boats that have been seized in most auctions have a "false bottom" on low bid. I have seen a Pantera Sportscar have a minimum of 120k and wind up going home at the very end of the auction for 30k. These specialty boats that are seized are eventually given away. I pays to have a liquidation business just for seizures. I don't know the history on the above boat but am wondering.

I have bid on boats at Yachtaucrions, dealt with a guy named "Jim" he was very straight up on condition of boats. As for the min bid, you can bid whatever you want, if they turn it down drop it a thousand the next week, and bid again. Thats my advise but then again I never got any that I bid on
