Small digital camera help needed.
I'm looking for a digital camera that I can through in my pocket. My good cameras are all to large and worth too much so they all end up staying home. Rather than missing the photo ops, I want a camera to take "on the road" (or water ).
What I'm looking for:
Some optical zoom (digital is junk)
Uses memory card (I have a lot of memory for another Sony camera)
MUST be small
3+ mp
Under $450
I haven't started shopping yet so please point me in the right direction.
TIA!

I got a Vivitar 3935 5mp 3x optical SD memory from Fry's this weekend for $179. It was a screaming deal. The size is nice and small too. Check one out, they are nice.

I currently own a Minolta A2 which is a 799-899. camera and is not waterproof or rugged plus is rather large. I have to keep it in the padded case when on the boat or it will get damaged, Im looking for one of these Ricohs to have on the boat.
if your gonna punish it with boating and plan on dropping it in the water
this is the only one I found with a optical zoom and ruggedness
focal length of 28 – 85mm (F2.6 – 4.3) and an optical 3x zoom
camera can record pictures in resolutions of 2048x1536 / 1280x960 / 640x480 pixels. The camera can also record movies, commonly referred to digital clip movies, with resolutions of 320x240 (duration 30 seconds) and 160x120 (duration 120 seconds). The camera range is 0.3 meters to infinity.
The waterproofing conforms to the JIS Protective 7 Class standards and is waterproof up to one meter for a duration of 30 minutes. The dust proofing conforms to the JIS Protective 6 Class standards and can withstand a drop test from 90 centimeters which corresponds to the 810F standard of the Department of Defense

Re: Small digital camera help needed.
Check out the Olympus Stylus 400--seems like it's tje only one out there that is "water resistant". Also has a great waterproof housing available.
