Actually the West coast of Africa looks like a POPCORN machine right now . . . . man, it's scary what's forming up over there.

Fever Mike,
I would try to find something to lash the boat down to so that it does topple over with all the weight on such a narrow frame. Don't forget about filling the fish boxes also.

Rick,
Ya'll take care riding this thing out. Maybe everyone will be lucky and this thing will turn and go out to sea.

Robert

I was in Lauderdale all week. Got out on a 4pm flight, thank goodness. My partners scheduled to fly out tomorrow, were forced to drive west toward Ft. Myers for flights, with Pensacola as a backup for flights out.

Hope no one has to drive their way to Pensacola, from FTL to get out. THAT'S a jaunt, and with the traffic on I-75 going Northbound, it's a mess. Don't know about I-10, but I wouldn't want to be making that trip now.

With the storm slowing it a bit, it looks like we have a reprieve for a few extra hours before it makes landfall. Everyone stay safe over the next few days.

Bermudaboy, got your Pm thanks!
Mike, that is by far and away the best thing you can do. With that bow angled that high is asking for trouble I think. Full of fuel and then filling with water and then tying it down to the rack as best you can is about all you can do. Anything you can take off, obviously, take off, even antennas, etc.

Good luck.
