Labor Day Weekend and hydro races - Chesapeake
W-o-w! What a superb weekend on northern Chesapeake Bay! We spent Saturday and Sunday rafted up with the likes of Mr./Mrs. RAddiction, 737JetMech, Blue Thunder and lots of others watching the hydroplane races on the Susquehanna River, swimming, floating, drinking, eating, and just flat living large. There were two rollovers and one blowover in the races, but no one got hurt, and the show was awesome. Even Monday, when the weather looked dreary, actually turned out to be a nice day over in the Sassafras River. We even got some sun!

Ain't boatin' great?

Hey Chuck!!! A great time 1/2 mile from the marina!!! Couldn't get in gear yesterday......stayed at home and recuperated!! See you in a couple of weeks. Tell The Admiral I'll bring the blender next time!! Sorry don't have many pics I'll have to sort thru the ones from saturday night in my boat!!

Living large we were. Had a great time!! Good to meet you and Diane C-Spray. Only drawback to the entire weekend was when Raddition jumped on my boat wearing his muddy hiking boots then proceded to spill his grape drink all over my new perelli flooring.....

Hopefully we can hook up again in the near future Chuck. Planning to get a day in at Lloyds this weekend if the weather holds.
