I had a 388 slingshot w/575s and sold it for a cig ts /575s. The huslter before mods. would run 91mph and the cig. runs 89mph both need some chop to run these speeds. The ride well not important on lake but no comparision in rough water. The fit and finish is also no comparision the cig is superior. Now price thats where the cig. falls way short, you pay alot for that #1 on the side, in rough water you can quickly justify the money on the lake it would be hard. Unless you just had to have a cig. The hustler was a great boat,I also owned and raced formula's as well, The quality of the hustler isint perfect but the price reflects that, both would be great, it will come down to how bad you want a cig. I had to have one so I paid up but I still think they are over priced and you pay alot for the extra quality and the name...good luck

It does to me, I was just asking as I do not know what the cabin size is like in a Hustler. Would you care to shed some light on this question.

All the specs for the Slingshot are on the website (hustlerpowerboats). I believe the cabin height is 5ft 2 in and fairly consistent going forward. I've got the full cabin in mine with fridge, tv/vcr, 6CD player, vacuhead shower/toilet, four hatches, mirrors/ultrasuede. Never piloted a Cigarette but would expect it to be better in big water. I'm up here in the great lakes where it feels right at home. In the back I've got the 800SC's,upgraded Hubers, SSMV's, Mayfair etc. Fun boat! Lou
