Where to get boat insurance in FL?
I just moved down to Florida from Mass. (yeah, I know good timing...) and now the company I was going to insure my boat with (Allstate) has suspended writing new policies. My boat is still back in Mass., and I was going to have it shipped down shortly, but I really wanted to insure it first. I had it on my old homeowner's policy previously, which is about to expire since I don't live there anymore, and my old company won't write a boat without a house (they don't cover Florida).
So does anyone know who may be writing new boat policies in Florida? The boat is an '87 Formula 311.
Thanks!

Just Kidding. It's getting really tough and the rates are getting worse and worse.
Try PMA, Worldwide, Total Dollar, They'll write ya.

I just spend the last week and a half getting quotes. It's not easy.

Rick,
You had roof damage? From the hurricane? Really?
