Meeting OSO members face to face
On another thread Twinn29 mentioned that he had just had lunch with Waterfoul and Cord on their way through Canada to meet another member Biggus. His girlfriend found it amazing that he was meeting up with someone from a web site. A lot of my friends do seem to think it odd when I talk about meeting people from the site.
I was just wondering how many people you have met face to face through this site. I have probably have met over 50 by now, maybe more especially when I think of COPS and LEOPA. I expect to double that number after Key West

I have personally met several members through this website, and spoken to others via telephone, that I would probably have never met otherwise.

Well I've met you Donna, and about 250 other people from here and other boating boards (LSCN). I felt odd the first time I was going to meet someone from a website but that feeling quickly fades. I've met a lot of great friends through these websites.
