Re: Trailer Light Problem
OLD THREAD! but I wanted to post the fix. The Draw Tite module was bad. I spent 28 dollars at Oreilley Auto parts for the slickest plug and go wiring harness.Very simple. It took 4 minutes to hook up and has been trouble free for 7 months.

Re: Trailer Light Problem
good TTT.
I have the same problem. can you post a link to where you bought it and what the item looks like. |
Re: Trailer Light Problem
Stormrider here is the link. http://oreillyauto.com/B2C/vehicle.ecatalog
Looks like they have not made the move to NY yet. This store is awesome. Like Pep Boys or Autozone but no fuzzy dice and spinner hubcaps. Oreilleys sells only the good names. I will check the name of the manufacturer and get you a model # for the part if you get me your vehicle year make and model. The kit I got plugged in with no splicing. Unhook your taillights from the harness and plug it in,then zip tie the wires thats it. |
Re: Trailer Light Problem
BTW they also sell a LOT of marine products. You just have to ask for the catalog. Attwood,Sierra,Etc. Also Motorcycle and ATV parts. They don't advertise it but they can get it,usually way cheaper than marine stores.

Re: Trailer Light Problem
Does that mean ya'll are coming over here for the 4th? Let me know, I need a ride, BOTH of mine are dead in the water as we speak. Hopefully not for long though.

Re: Trailer Light Problem
Anything "marne" that can be bought in a "non" marine store, is ALWAYS cheaper......
