Having lived through this very same thing. I know that you can do it.
The support of the Board and all the OSO members around the country and the world are a great asset in your corner.
The recovery will be a BI!@H. But I can honestly tell you that Wounds heal and most times Chicks do dig Scars. Goodness knows that you've probably got a huge one on your chest.
I hope and pray that you come through just as I have. I know that all the encouragement that I got from everyone made that shuffle to the computer worth it everyday.
follow your docs instructions and do your rehab and I would imagine that you'll be on a boat in less than a year.

I will head down to the hospital as soon as I get out of the firehouse tomarrow morning and get a first hand report on his condition and see if I can get in to see him and his family.
