Welcome to the West Coast.

You'll need to check out the OPBA (www.opbafl.org)

George, where in Largo are you located? Parts of Largo are actually in the county, that's where I had to live since I had four boats outside.

It's unbelievable what pigstys some people live in!!!
Also found out from the city that I cannot legally park my boat in front of my house, it seems there is a 20 foot setback the listing agent forgot to tell me about!!! After looking at the survey, it looks like I have about 14 feet available for my 29 foot trailer/boat combo!!!
When I was there measuring the space with my tape right in front of his assistant, just when I had gone under contract, telling him this was exactly the kind of place I needed for my boat, this guy just stood there like a dork and said : duh....yeah!
This burns me up!!! these morons selling real estate, that don't know chit!!!
I am a Realtor, and I ALWAYS tell people about anything that I know of that may affect their buying decision, and if I don't know it, I will research it and find out about it for them.
Yep, setbacks(easement) can be pretty large in some areas. Also, I'm sure Largo is like St. Pete and your boat/RV has to be wholly located behind the forward-most edge of your house.

I am on Patlin Circle South, just south of Bay and west of Largo Medical center.
