What do you use to clean oil from the bildge?

If you have an oil spill in your bilge, what do you use to clean it up and how well does it work?

I'm hearing Dawn dishwashing detergent is the best.

I like simple green. Don't use it straight, though, just as you shouldn't use any concentrated degreaser straight except on a rag to wipe stuff with. Degreasers use emulsifiers and suspension agents to keep the nasty stuff contained in the mix as it sloshes around. Needs water to hold the grime in suspension.

Simple green smells nice too.

a gallon or so of water, and dawn dishwashing liquid. Then take it out on a rough day for a couple of hours!! Throw an oil absorbant towel on top when you get back to the dock and let the water out when you put it on the trailer.
