I know this is a different boat, but look at the similarity to a 1979 26' Mirage I used to have. It started out as a jet boat but had been converted to a twin turbo 486" Ford/TRS setup when I bought it.

Thanks LEATHL for getting the thread out there again. the 70s era had a much lower and sleeker deck than that model you show.I have a lead on the one that I talked about in the beginning of the thread,Its a single engine and I want to have a twin small block boat, but I really like that boat .Phil mailed me that he had one previously listed and would try to see if the owner still had it ,but have not heard back from him as of yet.Craig where is this one you are talking about and what can tou tell me about It.To be honest I put my buying plans on hold for a few months but I would like a few leads for me to work on.

There was one here called plum crazy , purple with an all teak? Deck Volvo set up, pretty much weather for many years guy wanted 10k years ago , by last year I'm pretty sure he gave it away

there has one in west michigan years ago called plum crazy also. it was the loudest boat around for years back in the day. couple of friends of mine are the guys cousins. don't remember if it had a teak deck on it.
