VICTORY SPY PHOTO- Man caught installing InstaTrim upgrade
1 Attachment(s)
This just in...still warm from the powder coat oven...too hot to install the remaining screws  (the Martini is tired of having numerous prototypes bolted to her azz, I'm going to use a different approach for the actual photo shoot)
Pictured is the 19" Victory upgrade for the InstaTrim dual ram system complete with standoff brackets to compensate for a relatively short IT actuator. (compared to Bennett or Lenco) The upper brackets were designed to conceal the external hoses. Note how the cylinders are given a 180 degree turn, very clean. No modifications will have to be made to your current hoses. I've designed a 'relief' in the upper portion of the bracket to accommodate the clamshell used with all IT kits. As you InstaTrim owners know, the placement of the thru-hull is completely left to the discretion of the installer. This bracket has been designed to address that situation. This particular set has been powder coated in yellow for clarity, the standard color will be black. Of course I offer hundreds of powder coat colors so you can completely integrate this system into your existing gelcoat/paint scheme. Single ram Victory/IT upgrades are coming, in fact I just welded up the first one before posting this. Brian :drink: |

Sorry for the poor quality pictures, I'll upload some 'worthy' pictures after the photo shoot.
Now...why would you need a standoff bracket? Glad you asked! From left to right: Lenco, InstaTrim, Bennett Brian :drink: |
Re: VICTORY SPY PHOTO- Man caught installing InstaTrim upgrade
An important note - Even though the spy photos show a 'skeleton crew' of fasteners, Victory trim tab kits come with ALL the necessary stainless hardware for the transformation.

Re: VICTORY SPY PHOTO- Man caught installing InstaTrim upgrade
Very nice Brian! :drink:
Why did you make both upper standoff brackets separate units? I would think that you could make a one piece bracket, with similar details, and little less drilling. Not to mention that it probably would be easier to align to keep both actuators parallel and even. Just my engineering $.02.. -Larry |
Re: VICTORY SPY PHOTO- Man caught installing InstaTrim upgrade
Thanks for the kind words fellas!
Larry- Funny you should mention a 'one piece' backing plate, that design will be ready in approximately two weeks. (similar to the B/P offered with the Victory Offshore Series/Bennett application, but with the standoffs incorporated) I just decided to offer this one first since I was on upper bracket detail this week. I've got a flavour for everyone! :drink: They're seperate because it ties in nicely with a future 'plan'. ;) Brian |
