I sold a boat to a guy in Denmark last year. He paid me via western union, and I didnt hear from him for 10 mos. All of a sudden a boat transporter shows up and takes it away. WEIRD

jryan26...that's great, but who paid the storage for 10 months. If it was me and had another buyer, I would have sold the boat and then I probably would have been in deep $hit

There are a ton of guys from Africa, and UK saying that they need to put X amount of money in an overseas account etc..... Big scams....but have been going on for years!!
Do the deal as long as you have the money in your bank first of course!!

It looks like your account is all set up correctly, it doesn't say awaiting email confirmation so you should be able to just log in and post. Let me know if you can't and I'll ask the site owner to look into it.
All the same, I reckon I could guarantee that this particular buyer is a hoax. I usually get people from Africa wanting to buy my stuff, it's all part of the same scam, but people do still get caught out unfortunately. The english in their mails is always a bit odd. Get him to join OSO or boatmad if he's real. Or get a name, address and phone no and I'm sure myself or cookee can check out the details.
