Offshore Report?
Looking for a report on the seas this weekend along the east coast.
Father's boat is leaving NYC and heading south tomorrow.
Up here the seas are running 8-10ft.
At least they are out of the North.
What did you all see this weekend?

Re: Offshore Report?
If he needs anything I own the biggest marina in Myrtle Beach. We have the largest lift between Charleston and Wilmington. We help at least 20 big transient boats each fall and spring.
What kind of boat?

Re: Offshore Report?
Thanks for the info. If he needs help in your area I'll key him in.
The boat is a Knowles 40ft custom walkaround sportfish, built in Stewart.
He is leaving today, regardless of conditions.
I know the boat can handle it, I just hope he can.

Re: Offshore Report?
Rick, the ride was not bad at all.
2-3ft w/ the occasional 4ft seas on top of very large swells.
The swells were big enough to take him from a 29kt cruise to 32kt coming down the front of them.
Took 6hrs from East Rockaway inlet to Ocean City, MD.
What kind of boat are you running down?
