Anyone experienced with tunnel plates on a Warlock 25SXT cat

I have a 2000 Warlock 25 SXT cat running mercruiser 502 MPI power. It runs through a Bravo 1 with low water pickup (no cone). It is spinning a Merc. labbed 28P Bravo @ 5000rpm,80 mph @ WOT.The boat runs great and come out of the hole like a rocket but wants to porpoise after getting the drive untucked.I talked to Carter from Warlock and he said tunnel plates would cure the problem.Just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with tunnel plates before I drill 26 holes in my transom:)Any knowlege would be greatly appreciated.Warlocker!!

I have a 25 Warlock with twin o/b's. Setback cured my hop problems. The tunnel tab will work but at a cost. The tab will be driving the nose down and scrubing off speed. It can also cause the boat to trip off a wave and stuff the boat. I would try a drive extension box.
