From my vantage point on the big water -- I can pick out the MEN from boys by JUST the SOUND. I can hear them coming and even with a 180 degree view I have to move fast to see what sounds so good....... Oh how I love that sound..... I don't see many open bow's make that kind of music......for sure.....

I would say it is more a looks thing and less of a speed deal. When people ask me how fast my boat goes I always get that they thought it would be faster then that. So I guess my boat looks a lot faster then it is/was
