How much $$$ for a 575SCI blow-out special?

I have not heard about them. Are they really discounting them heavily?

I would have a hard time not looking at the new Ilmor and Teague package. They have the same dollar to horsepower as the merc's and the same one year warranty and they have excellent customer service on both the components.
Merc may have some new competition. At the 2005 Miami boat show Ilmor will unveil their new package combo with an estimated 600 to 700 hp fuel injected V-10.
Definitely worth looking at.

By the way, the V10 is all aluminum and weighs approx. 400 pounds less than merc and is also enclosed cooling.

You can also buy the 575 from Merc as a long block without superchargers. Excellent parts in that long block and ready for supercharging. We can provide a supercharging system for that engine, with EFI if you want, through Nortech and they will install on your new boat. Then you will have a reliable 800 HP to go with your Arneson's.

If you are buying through Randy Sweers, ask him about Rtech Performance. You know you need more power. :D

I'd go with the 525's over the 575's.

HANDS DOWN...525's

The reasle will be better down the road as well since the 575's are discontinued.
