I talked to Gary last night on the phone. Unfortunately, he just sold one of those 2.5 SS motors last weekend at the worlds. Someone blew a motor in the super stock class and bought one of his. I would only switch if I could find a set of 2.5ss race motors which he had. I can not find any of those now. Looks like I will be keeping the promax's and seeing what I can do with them.

Re: 28 Skater/AMT/Spectre

I just skimmed through this thread, but member Maximus has a fresh 30' Spectre for sale. Twin 300's, all teh trimmings. He doesn't cut anything short. Might be priced real low considering it probably has lots of warranty left.

Pardon the pun but, this Cat is loaded!

Maximus boat is a great deal. Tantrum I dont think you will regret that choice if you decided to purchase that. I thought he said that boat ran around 110 with the 300x's, which is real good in that boat. Not to mention the paint, interior and the fact its almost brand new!

Maximus has the nicest 30 Spectre I have ever seen.
Private sales are tough for me because I still own my AT so a dealer trade would be easier.
Im going to take my time being the season has ended up north here and see what happens.Im also paying for a wedding in Feb. Thats about as easy to budget as a new boat

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the complements.

"the Judge" was sold last week to a lucky gentlemen in Miami. I know he surfs the board. Maybe he'll let oso world know who he is when it's delivered.

Once again OSO reaches the right people.

You guys know my choice between the three.

Maximus

Re: 28 Skater/AMT/Spectre

Congrats on the sale Maximus! That boat is sweet.

Tantrum, if you decide to order a new Spectre, Jay might be able to work a deal with your trade. Also, he's not a large volume output facility. They'll do it rigth for you.

Just my two cents. Good luck.

Jon

PS, Maximus, does the new buyer know we "beat" Hellfire from Boca Grande to Sarasota? Didn't even have it full out.

Laughing cat you new to the board and area? You a member of the OPBA?

I think everyone knows my preference, also.

I've been a member for a few years and mostly lurking around. My input is usually not too insightful so I don't usually chime in.
