Stuck at home today...

My truck is in the shop today having a leaking front axle seal replaced. I borrowed my girlfriends 1985 Dodge Caravan with 160,000 miles on it so I could get to work. It's raining, foggy, and really damp this morning. Frickin thing won't start!!!! I've about run the battery down already this morning. Guess I'm not going to work. Trust me, I'd love a day off, but really can't afford it. Was scheduled to work some o.t. today too. I'll give it a try later.

It's the curse of WaterFoul at work.

For every action there is an equal breaking action.

I didn't know that Vicki was driving a old minivan. Pop the cap on a can of electrical contact cleaner. Spray the entire length of the plug wires, plugs and insides of the boots. The underside of that is good a idea too. This stuff displaces the moisture and should allow the engine to fire right up...assuming you didn't flood it.

Now...should I bring up the curse of the Foul? :D

I just tried to start it again. Remember, this is an OLD van, she just keeps it around for, to quote her "haul stuff around." It doens't like damp weather. I had trouble getting home from work with it last night.

Shop just called me. Truck should be done by noon. If I can get out of here at noon, I'll go to work (remember that OT I was talking about....). Shop is just around the corner... I can walk there to get it.
