Default I blame OSO for this.......remember the GTO thread?

I've been wanting to do this for 2 years! I heard on the radio yesterday about a new SUBARU dealership offering 2.9% financing. So I just go by to browse and the next thing I know I'm test driving the new Subaru WRX STI. Holy cow what a freaking blast! 1 hour after rolling into the parking lot @ the dealership this is what I bought! GTO BEWARE! BH

Mike:

Yea no problem fitting , just a little seat adjusting! If you guy's like speed on the land you have to go test drive this beast! My brother has a new Corvette and I let him take a spin today. He said the WRX / STI would smoke his car on windy roads. On the expressway he said the Corvette would definitely out run the WRX / STI though , hey we live in the N. Ga Mtns. Later gang - BH

Thumbs up Re: I blame OSO for this.......remember the GTO thread?

Nice BH! (hate those gold wheels though ) My brother and I went 'shopping' in August. Just 'looking' at the WRXs ... real nice and real quick 4x4 sweet! 4 hrs later he ended up with the Forester WRX or STX turbo 4 banger for $21K and change. He wanted the room in the Forester for his snowboarding VT trips, but I like the WRX STI better. ... although I bit more $$$$$ too, which helped make his decision. Good luck with it and have fun (not tooo much).

SWEET. With AWD and a few tweaks under the hood 500HP can be at your foot. Why would you waste time racing a GTO? This is one of the few cars that actually makes use of that thingy on the hood. (unlike anything Pontiyak ever made)

I watched a show where there put a second gas tank in the trunk, put race fuel in it, upped the turbo and had a switch the would change tanks when you wanted to get after it ,very cool good luck and nice ride
