Question Best CC perfomance boat?

Hello Everyone-

Well I was talking to my Dad last night and he drop a shocker on me. After 20 years of owning a perfomance boat (last one being a 29 formula) he is looking at 31-35 foot CC fish boat with Outboards. I have done some looking on this site and may have been brought to my attention Concept, Donzi, Fountain, Glasstream, ect. He is looking for a boat that is more performance than fish with twin 250's or 300's. He lives in Cape Coral and runs out on the gulf. Right now he is using my 1991 formula 311 for the winter and loves the rough water ride. Do any of these CC have as good of ride as my formula? What about top speed? Any help would be great thanks.

Don

LeoPajm-

We saw you out in front of Fort Myers Beach last saturday I finally brought my formula down for the winter. My dad really likes the look of your boat. That is a 36' right? My parents cover is only 35' long and he would like to keep the boat fully covered. A 33' with outboards would fit perfect under his cover. With trip 300's what type of speed and fuel consumption do you get with them?

Hey Don . It's actually the old 33. With the 300 yammies ... tops is 73 -74 so far . One of these would fit in your dads lift with just the motors stickin out the back I bet .... and he could put covers on them to keep the UV off. I think we saw you folks last Sunday too ... sharp boat !!! Keep us posted .

BTW,... fuel burn I don't know ??? I'll have to check with WW for that data .... buts it's not too thirsty until you go over 4,000 rpm.

It's a law in Cape Coral that you cover can only be 35' long. If it wasn't a law a 36 concept would look really nice under a cover. yeah we were out on sunday and the rest of the weekend it was my first time out on the ocean with my boat. Needless to say I am trying to fiqured out a way to move down. All I need is a Job.... anyone hiring?
